Consisting of a fluted corrugated sheet and one or two flat liner boards, corrugated is a versatile material that provides more cushion than paperboard. Board Weights
There are two main packaging board thicknesses: 18pt and 24pt board. The 18pt board is perfect for smaller or lighter products, while the 24pt board is ideal for larger or heavier products. Both boards are highly durable and designed to withstand the rigors of shipping and storage, so you can rest assured your products will arrive at their destination in perfect condition. Standard Board Weight Options:
10pt – 28pt SBS C1S | Solid bleached sulfate, Coated one side (most common for standard packaging)

13pt – 30pt SUS | Solid unbleached sulfate, Coated one side (partially recycled, brown on inside)
16pt – 36pt CRB | Coated 100% Recycled Board (inside is gray, tan, or brown)
13pt – 30pt Kraft | uncoated (brown both sides, typically fully recycled)

SBS (Solid Bleached Sulfate or Bleached Kraft)

It’s made from virgin wood fibers that are bleached and then coated with clay, giving it a super-smooth finish that’s ideal for printing and packaging applications. SBS is also quite resistant to scoring and bending, making it easy to work with. It’s available in a range of from .010″ to .028″, so you can find the perfect thickness for your project. If you need a high-quality board that’s easy to work with and looks great, SBS is the way to go. This top-of-the-line paperboard is available in 16pt, 18pt, and 24pt caliper stock for online orders, and 10pt up to 28pt for full service orders. CCNB (Clay Coated News Back) / CRB (Clay Coated Recycled)
This board is made from 100% recycled fiber and usually contains at least 30% post-consumer waste paper, making it an environmentally friendly choice and complies with regulations in certain states. It’s also available in a clay coated kraft back for additional strength. With a caliper range of .016 to .036, this board is versatile and can be used for a variety of applications. SUS (Solid Unbleached Sulfate) / CUK (Coated Solid Unbleached Kraft)
Reliable and high-quality, this packaging material, the SUS (Solid Unbleached Sulfate) / CUK (Coated Solid Unbleached Kraft) is produced using unbleached Kraft fiber making it incredibly strong and tear resistant. It can also be modified with resins to give it wet strength characteristics, making it ideal for beverage and freezer packaging. With calipers ranging from .013 to .030, this virgin fiber material is perfect for cartons that need to be extra rigid – ensuring your packages arrive safe and sound. Kraft (Uncoated Unbleached Kraft)
Natural Kraft (Uncoated Unbleached Kraft) paperboard offers high yields and increased bursting strength. This top-quality paperboard is available from only one mill source, and may only be ordered and produced based on their specific schedule dates. With a caliper range of .013 to .030, this lightweight but strong paperboard is perfect for your next project!
Single Faced Laminated
Looking for a high-strength, durable packaging solution for your large and heavy items? Consider Single Faced Laminated corrugated cardboard. This tough material is created by printing graphics on a .010 sheet and then laminating it to single face micro flute corrugated. Different size flutes can be used, but we recommend E, F, or N flute for the best results. This combination provides a high strength decorated carton that can stand up to the rigors of shipping and storage. Plus, it’s an affordable solution that won’t break your budget. This option is typically reserved for quantities of 15,000 boxes or more.
